new month new look.

Not sure if I like my new blog look or whatever it is :) It was something I drew quite a while back just for fun, I don't even know or understand what some of it is. But it adds.. personality?
Hmm, I also just thought it is 25 days until we get our results, I guess I'm not nervous, just a little.

Here is the thing, this is a vexed post because I am.

For some people dealing with stuff in life is hard, actually no for EVERYONE dealing with certain things in life are hard, upsetting and even unbearable.

So when some people think that they are THE worst off and complain all the time about how they have the worst life and look at everyone else's, it is damn unacceptable.

Yes you have problems and you share them with people, people may even feel sorry for themselves.

But seriously sometimes I just feel like screaming to them 'OH WAIT I HAVE PROBLEMS TOO!'
Yes there are others who will get through their problems and listen to these people who moan about theirs, but inside they are dealing with things that eat them up, and they have heavy hearts too.

I feel like just gathering these certain beings up and taking them to Africa.

Then we will see who can 'struggle on' and who can't.

This is not about anyone in particular or whatever, it is not a bitchy post or anything.  I just get so so so annoyed by this, we all have problems mighty big or just little ones. Do not judge and say 'you are the worst off' because you sure as hell are not. Just look around, everyone hides behind a mask.

Clairol Review

This is sort of a review I suppose :)
I have been wanting more blonder hair for a while now, this is what it was like before- a sort or blonde but mousy colour (not a good picture)

But what was originally going to be high-lights has basically dyed my whole hair, I used Clairol Born Blonde Highlights which was around £6.

I liked it because it was a good price, and the instructions were so clear and you could do it two ways, by foil or by hat. I have to say the mixture did stink, it was not nice, and the hat made me look like a vintage bathing swimmer, but despite the smell the actual process only took 20 minutes for me as my hair was already quite blonde, so it was quick too.
I like how the hat had holes in so you could pull strands out, that was clever. The pack came with everything and was a really good price for £6, it has some really nice conditioning creme to use after the highlights had been left and I can honestly say that my hair was the softest it has ever been.
It had a dramatic effect...

I know I look scary...

So it has come out blonder! :) I liked the Clairol and to be honest it was my first time using their product, it turned out pretty good I think, it sort of looks natural in real life and today was not the best hair day. I think it is permanent.. it doesn't say on the box which is a bit wrong but I'm growing to it, a new me :)
All I need it for it to grooow!

Relationships are like glass. Sometimes it’s better to leave them broken than try to hurt yourself putting it back together.

It is heavily cliche I know, but it is true. Sometimes in relationshiips you have to be a bit selfish and realise what is right for you, however in my case I did it for the other one, in order to stop the disappointment.
Naturally I did turn to my two favourite people for this sort of time in life :')

Never be sad for what is over, just be glad that it was once yours.
I hope we can still be friends, for what it is worth.

A Game Of Shadows

Saying goodbye to an old friend.

On July the 15^th my childhood was drawn to an end.

The last instalment of Harry Potter was revealed and as we sat down in our seats, my friend Lucinda and I in our crazy Potter glasses, we clutched each other’s hands and whispered ‘This is it. Ten years of our lives comes down to this two and a half hour’s’.

For some people Harry Potter is just another film with high publicity, but for others it is more than books and films, it is part of your mind and has been a friend since you were 7 or 8 for me.

"It all ends," says the poster slogan. A potentially grim statement of the obvious, of course, yet the Potter saga could hardly have ended on a better note. In recent films the magic of Potter had been starting to drift and sag and the tension and anticipation for then end had been pushed aside. But believe when I say the final chapter of the seven books was phenomenal, spectacular and terrifically exciting, easily justifying the decision to split the last book into two. I won’t give away too many secrets, but whether you are seeing it just for the experience, or seeing it because you know every line (ahem), it really is amazing and is just the sort of ending every Potter fan wished for. It was breath taking personally to see the film unfold as it was so close and correct to my imaginative version.

I know there are no silly teams, but I am quite taken to Voldemort, in the film he is menacing and unstoppable. I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that Ralph Fiennes portrays him to perfection, it has to be said.  

Be prepared for tears also, at the beginning it begins with Dobbys grave and when Harry is surrounded by his closest loved ones- I swear I was watching through a watery film, it may have just been my Potter specs, who knows?

I may seem obsessive, yes. But this was the ultimate ending and it was performed incredibly.

Hopefully next week I shall see it in 3D too with my other PMF (Potter Mega Fan) Thea as she was in Leed’s this time ):      It will be equally brilliant and likewise sad.

           
But for now the books still live and are displayed like priceless possessions on my bookshelf, ready to be read for the millionth time.

GYM CLASS HEROES- MY HEART'S A STEREO

Yet another 'Nina' moment..

You know how blonde's are stereotypically defined as clumsy?
Well that is no lie, I am.
This weekend has been silver dofe and it had all gone wonderful, I mean I had a great team, lovely weather, and no tan! :) ( just to say yes any day I would have wanted one but not a dodgy one for prom! Going to get it done properly).

Anyway on the second night I decided to grab a lid of a camping metal saucepan with boiling water and I did burn myself, now at first I thought oh that is just a normal burn so I did ignore it : ? But I caught a glimpse and trust me it was not nice.. I was stuffed in the mini van and off to hospital. A question I always ask myself,
WHY DO I DO THESE THINGS!?
All my left fingers were second/ third degree burns and it has quite possibly ruined my plans, prom is in 3 days and this is what it looks like

PROM IN THREE DAYS! Plus I was meant to have a tan and manicure but that might not even happen with this : / which I will be gutted about.
Tomorrow is Sixth Form induction day and I can not be bothered, going to be in a comfy vest I think or my new dress, but seriously now fuck my life.

If there is one man that is possibly better than Ed Sheeran or dare I say Brett Dennen, DON'T GET ME WRONG I LOVE THEM BOTH.
But there is this guy called Alan Pownall who has a gorgeous voice and his music had the laid back tone of Dennen but the great music or Ed Sheeran, it is like it has jumped straight from a jukebox, it has that retro feel but modern too :) He is genuinely amazing and I am really into his music, I personally can't get enough of him.
I mean it is good for anything, sitting in the sun or out with friends.
